According to the Japan Broadcasting Association (NHK) on the 7th, the "commuter ship" is committed to alleviating the congestion at the morning peak, and will travel between the Chaoyang Canal Pier and the Nihonbashi Pier in the Clear Sea area of Tokyo. In order to facilitate everyone in the morning peak, the "commuter boat" will run every 15 minutes between 7:30 and 9:00, for a total of 14 shifts. The vessel can accommodate around 40 people and the time required for a one-way trip is expected to be between 30 minutes and 40 minutes.
According to the report, the "commuter ship" will be put into trial operation for the first time on the 24th. Since the trial operation is aimed at observing the effect, no ticket fee will be charged. Although there is no need to purchase a ticket, each passenger needs to make an appointment beforehand through the official website or official phone, and fill in the relevant questionnaire after the ride.
According to reports, the trial will start from the 24th to the end of the next month, except for Saturday and Sunday, for a total of 8 days. The Tokyo Metropolitan Government will decide whether to officially open a "commuter ship" based on the results of the questionnaire.xx
